What is the cost of a tattoo?
Tattoos start at $50.00 and go up depending on the size you choose and the detail of your design. Our hourly rate is $120.00 per hour for a custom tattoo.

Do I need to schedule an appointment?
We do take walk-ins around our scheduled appointments when there is an availability during the week. Saturdays are always walk-ins only, first-come, first-served. Custom work generally needs to be scheduled, so that we can take our time to create you a special, one-of-a-kind piece.

How do I schedule an appointment?
To schedule an appointment, you'll need to come to the shop to discuss your design. A $50.00 deposit is required, but it will be applied toward the final cost of the tattoo.

Can my own artwork be used?
Absolutely! However, the artwork will usually need to be redrawn to clean the edges and make it tattooable, so you may still need to schedule an appointment, just as you would for any custom tattoo. There is no extra charge for bringing in your own artwork.

Is there anything I should do before a tattoo or piercing?
We recommend that good hygiene be practiced before you get your tattoo or piercing done. You should also try to eat a small meal 1 to 2 hours beforehand.

If I'm 17 and don't live with my parents, can I still get tattooed or pierced?
If you have court documentation to prove that you're an emancipated minor, along with your photo ID, then you can get tattooed or pierced. However, your cousin, older brother, older sister, aunt, or uncle cannot sign for you. In Maryland, it's a crime to tattoo or pierce a minor without parental consent.

What if I don't have a driver's license? Can another type of ID be used?
You'll need another form of state-issued ID, such as an identification card, a military ID, passport, or school ID with a birth certificate. Your Social Security card, Costco ID, pool ID, etc. will not be accepted as valid identification.

Does it hurt to get a tattoo?
Yes, all tattoos hurt, but the pain will vary from person to person and the location on the body. A tattoo is never unbearable, if you really want it.

How do I care for my new tattoo?
Your artist will go over the care with you and provide written instructions.
The basic care consists of:
  • Leave the bandage on for 2-4 hours, then wash the tattoo with mild soap and water
  • Apply a very thin coat of ointment to the entire tattoo for the next 24-48 hours, then switch to an unscented hand lotion and continue using the lotion for the next 2 weeks
  • Do not pick or scratch at the healing tattoo
Will I be able to go swimming after I get my tattoo?
No, it is not recommended to soak your fresh tattoo for 2 weeks. Avoid swimming or baths. Showering is fine.

Can I still tan after getting my tattoo?
No, tanning should be avoided for 2 weeks after being tattooed. Once your tattoo is healed, be sure to always apply 30 SPF or higher sunblock over the tattoo to keep it from fading.
